Depending upon who she is speaking to, Fasel often denies involvement with Wicca. However, there is much evidence contradicting any such claims. For example, Monique's diary clearly indicates that on the 20th anniversary of the Jim Jones Cult Suicide Massacre (November 18, 1998) she was at a Wicca cult meeting led by Liduina Deering. Other documents indicate that Monique was taking copious notes on Liduina's hand-outs. Immediately upon her return from the Wicca meeting, she announced her plans to destroy the Yavelow family, informing family-members that Liduina Deering would help her to carry out her plans. This the two of them did, sickly recreating Monique's mother's death in the destruction of the Yavelow family by calculating every event to occur exactly 666 days after her mother's illness and eventual death. According to page 73 of one of the key Wiccan texts: "The Wiccan Mysteries -- Ancient Origins and Teachings" by Raven Grimassi (1998), the Wiccans worship a "horned god" One of Fasel's best friends, a self-proclaimed witch calling herself Lola Babylon provided additional support to the two. In the end, Monique abducted Celina and Stephanie, against their will, into the house of Monique's so-called Wicca high priestess, Liduina Deering. Stephanie escaped once. Yavelow prevented serious damage to his children by interrupting at least one Wicca ritual. When he finally rescued his children from this nightmare, the government of the United States of America invested every possible resource to set up the re-abduction of these native-born and raised American children to that living hell, again, against the children's wishes (English translation here) whose last words were "We are here of our own free will. We are American citizens and we want to stay in America!"
